Carriers list Port-in information

To make your number transfer as smooth as possible, we have compiled a list of common mobile carriers and the specific information you will need from each for a successful port-in.

A

AT&T

Account number: Usually this found in the upper right-hand corner of any bill or invoice, or in your online account. The number should be entered without any dashes or hyphens.
PIN number: Your PIN is usually the last four digits of your telephone number. It cannot be found on your bill, invoice or online account. You can call AT&T at 1-800-331-0500.

AT&T Business

Account number
PIN number: This is not the account login password.
Business name and address
EIN: Employer Identification Number is the business tax ID.

AT&T GoPhone

Account number: You'll need to contact GoPhone customer service by dialing 611 from your mobile phone.
PIN number: Set up initially when you opened the account. If you don't remember it, you'll need to contact customer service at 1-800-901-9878.
B

Boost Mobile

Account number: If you do not know your account number, you will need to contact Boost Mobile at (833) 502-6678.
PIN number: A four-digit number. This should be your "Personal Security" pin with Boost. If you don't know it, you will need to contact Boost.
C

CenturyLink

Account number: Can be found in the upper right-hand corner of any bill. It is your phone number plus three digits. If you can't find it you will need to contact CenturyLink at 1-800-244-1111.
PIN number: 0000

Consumer Cellular

Account number: : Your account number is located in the upper right corner of your invoice. It is also displayed on the Profile page in My Account.
PIN number: Contact Consumer Cellular at 1-888-345-5509.

Credo Mobile

Account number: account number can be found three places:
On the 1st page of your monthly bill
In Member Services in the top right-hand corner
Text ACCOUNT to 27336 to get your Account Number.
PIN number: Try “0000” or “1234”. Call Credo customer service at 800-411-0848 for assistance in obtaining your transfer PIN

Cricket Wireless

Account number: Can be found online or by calling Cricket Customer Support at 1-800-274-2538.
PIN number: Dial *PORT or *PORTAR from your Cricket phone, or call 1-800-274-2538.

FreedomPop

Account number: You can get your account number by going to My Account, then Account Settings on your online FreedomPop account.
PIN number: If the PIN number is not visible, you would need to speak with a customer service representative to get it. To contact FreedomPop, you will need to log into your FreedomPop account.
FreedomPop has an online help page to guide you through porting out your number.

Frontier Communications

Account number: When you sign in to your Frontier account to view your bill online, you can find your account number in the Account information section of My Profile. Click the eye icon to unhide it. On the paper bill, your account number is located at the top of your bill.
PIN number: Sign in to your Frontier account. Your PIN appears on the right-hand side of the page, under Key Account Info and beside your Account Number.
Both of these can be found at the top of the paper bill or by signing into My Account , then My Account - located at top of the page.

Google Project Fi

- To get your port-out number and PIN, you must go through the cancellation flow.
Open the Google Fi app or website.
Go to the Plan tab or select Manage plan.
Scroll down and tap Leave Google Fi.
Follow the steps and choose Transfer to another provider.
You'll receive your port-out number and PIN.

Google Voice

Google Voice provides a straightforward guide for porting out your number.

GoSmart

Account number: Your 10 digit phone number
PIN number: Four-digit PIN which is the same PIN used when calling customer service. If you don't have a PIN you can set one up by calling 611 for your GoSmart phone and saying "no" when it asks you if you want to refill and then choosing "Manage my account" followed by "change my account PIN"
Important: Be sure the zip code on the request matches what's on your GoSmart account.

H

H2O Wireless

Account number: You need to call customer service a 1-800-643-4926 and ask them to release your number for porting and provide you with your account number and PIN.
PIN number: Instructions above. They will ask you to provide the three most recent outgoing calls to verify that it's your number.

Account number: 10 digit phone number
PIN number: 4-8 digit PIN your set up when activating. If you don't know it you will need to call 1-866-434-7796.

Account number: 11 digits, you will need to call Customer Service at 1-866-277-3221.
PIN number: This is your four-digit CIP number. Lyca usually sends this number via text when you first register for your account on their website. If you don't know it, you will need to contact Customer Service at 1-866-277-3221.

Magic Jack

Account number: Found online in your Magic Jack account or by calling customer service at 1-844-866-2442.
PIN number: your magicJack account’s PIN number will be the password you use to log in to the my.magicJack.com portal. Make sure to reset your password to a eight-digit numerical password for convenience during the porting process.

Metro PCS

Account number: Nine-digit account number. Go to MetroPCS.com, login into your account, click on Payments and select any month. It is also available in the bill reminder text messages sent by Metro PCS.
PIN number: Call-in passcode which is generally your eight-digit birth-date unless you've changed it.

Ooma

Contact Customer support to request Account number and PIN number at at 1-866-929-6662.

Page Plus

Account number: The IMEI of the phone used with Page Plus.
PIN number: The last four digits of the number unless you've changed it.

Puppy Wireless

Account number: This can be found on the left side of your online dashboard.
PIN number: Last four digits of the phone number unless you've changed it.
Contact Customer support to request Account number and PIN number at 800-724-7164.

Red Pocket Mobile

Follow these steps to get port out information:
Log in to your RedPocket account.
Go to the Port Management tab.
Disable the Port Blocker.
In the Transfer Number dropdown, select To another wireless carrier and Click Submit.
In the popup, click Start.
Verify ownership via a code sent by text or email.

Account number: IMEI or MEID
PIN number: 0000

Selectel Wireless

Account number: Eight-digit number labeled "Account" that is displayed on your online account after login.
PIN number: The four-digit PIN that you set up. If you don't know it, you will need to call customer support at 1-877-218-5744.

Spectrum

Account number: Can be found in the upper left-hand corner of your bill or by signing in to your account online.
Your porting PIN is a four-digit security code which can be found via:

Sprint / Sprint Prepaid

Account number: A nine-digit number which can be found at the top center of your bill and on your online account page.
PIN number: This is the same as the call-in passcode when you call customer service. You can set up or change your PIN on your online account. If you do not have access to your online account, you can call Sprint at 1-888-211-4727.

Straight Talk

Contact Customer support to request Account number and PIN number at 1-877-430-2355
Account number: MEID or IMEI of the phone or if you are using a BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) SIM card, it will be the last 15 digits of your SIM card number.
PIN number: Can be found on your online Straight Talk My account page by clicking Update personal profile where it's listed as Current security PIN. If that field is blank, be sure to set up a passcode PIN before porting.
T

T-Mobile

Account number: The nine-digit number that can be found in the upper right-hand corner of any bill or in your online account.
PIN number:
Call 1-800-937-8997, or Log in to your T-Mobile account and generate a Temporary Port Out PIN.
Make sure to disable Port Out Protection on the line (if active).

T-Mobile Prepaid

Account number: Your 10-digit phone number with a one in front is your account number.
PIN number:
Log in to your account at T-Mobile.com.
Go to My T-Mobile > My Profile.
Select Request Transfer PIN.
Click Get a Transfer PIN.
If Port-Out Protection is active, disable it to view the PIN.

Telcel America

Account number: MEID or IMEI of the phone or if you are using a BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) SIM card it will be the last 15 digits of your SIM card number.
PIN number: This can be found on your online Telcel America My account page by clicking Update personal profile where it's listed as Current security PIN. If that field is blank, be sure to set up a passcode PIN before porting.

Tello

Account number: If you do not know your account number, you can try locating the information on your Tello account online. After signing in, Go to the "Porting" tab in your online account, then scroll down to the "Port Out" and click "Information", Click on the "Retrieve Port Out Information". You can also contact Tello customer service at 1-866-377-0294 for the information.
PIN number: If you cannot recall or find your Security PIN, go to the "My Information" tab, and follow the instructions to reset your PIN.

TextNow

Contact to live chat support (available every day 10am-5:30pm EST) to get account number and pin number.

Total Wireless

Account number: Your phone's IMEI, which can be found in the settings of your phone or sometimes by dialing the * # 06 # prompt.
PIN number: The default PIN is 0000 unless you have changed it to something else. If you are unsure you can reach Total Wireless at 1-866-663-3633.

TracFone

Account number: MEID or IMEI of the phone, or if you are using a BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) SIM card, it will be the last 15 digits of your SIM card.
PIN number: Get your Port-Out PIN by contacting TracFone customer service.
U

Ultra Mobile

Account number: Found at the top left corner of your online account management portal. If you do not have access to the portal call 1-888-777-0446 to get your account number.
PIN number: The last four digits of your Ultra Mobile phone number.

US Cellular

Account number: If you do not have your account number, you will need to contact US Cellular at 1-888-944-9400.
PIN number: The four-digit PIN associated with your account, if you do not know it you will need to contact them.

US Mobile

Account number: Log in and go to User Management to check who owns the account.
Call 1-888-848-1788 or email [email protected] and ask for your account number.
PIN number: Visit usmobile.com/chat and ask for a Transfer PIN.
V

Verizon

Account number: Can be found on your bill or online account by logging in online and going to Account then Account overview. The account number is listed at the top, and it ends in -00001 but should be entered without the dash.
PIN number: Dial #PORT from your Verizon phone or visit My Verizon > Create Your Number Transfer PIN to generate the PIN, or by calling Verizon Customer Support at 1-800-922-0204.
Number lock: You may need to verify with Verizon Customer Support that your phone number has the number lock protection removed to allow a port out to complete.

Visible

You can get account number and pin number via Visible web or app:
1. Before requesting the Port-Out PIN, make sure Line Lock is toggled to Unlocked.
2. Log into your Visible account online and navigate to the Profile section.
3. Tap Port-Out PIN: request via email to request your Port-Out PIN.
4. Check your email or text messages for a message containing your:
a. Port-out PIN (unique 6-digit PIN)
b. Account Number
c. Phone number

Walmart Family Mobile

Account number: Dial #225#<SEND> to view account number.
PIN number: You need to contact Walmart Family Mobile by dialing 611 from your mobile phone or call 1-877-440-9758.
