What’s a SIM card?
The SIM card is a physical chip that you insert in your phone. It’s tied to your phone number and identifies you, the subscriber, to the AirVoice Wireless Network.
Set up your SIM card
I purchased a device from AirVoice Wireless
If you purchased a device, you'll need to activate it on a SIM card.
- If your current phone has a SIM card, you can swap it to your new device to get started.
- Using the SIM card we sent will make sure you get the most out of our 4G/5G+ network, as well as future network enhancements.
- Once you get the SIM card we shipped, log into your AirVoice Wireless account and change your SIM.
I’m new to AirVoice Wireless or have a new line
- With the device off, open the SIM card tray and insert the SIM card.
- Turn the device on. Your service should be working.
- If you're bringing your own device and data isn't working, add AirVoice's APN settings.
- If you don't see bars of signal, check out No Service Troubleshooting.
- It's now time to transfer your data from your old device to your new device.
For data transfer assistance, set up a new AirVoice Wireless phone. - Contact us if you want to transfer an existing phone number to AirVoice Wireless.
I upgraded or replaced a device
- With the device off, open the SIM card tray and insert the SIM card from your previous device.
- If you don't have your old SIM, change your SIM to the new one on your AirVoice Wireless account.
- Turn the device on. Your service should be working
- If you're bringing your own device and data isn't working, add AirVoice's APN settings
- If you don't see bars of signal, check out No Service Troubleshooting.
- It's now time to transfer your data from your old device to your new device.
